Large Quiet Charming Rooms in House near Historic Gent Centre

Lovely stay Ghent

Pros: Lovely large home within 15 min walk of all main sites in Ghent. House has everything we needed including a great coffee machine. Spacious 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Perfect for groups , or larger families.

Cons: For those with mobility problems stairs are steep.

Best stay in Ghent ever

Pros: The accessibility, the house in itself, everything inside was perfet and lovely. The quality that we found inside was so good for a perfect price. We understood why this establishment was so well ranked and graded by all the people who stayed here. If I come back in Ghent, I'm pretty sure that I will go back here in group! Also, a special guest to our host who was very nice and the exchange that we had continuously before and during the stay was really helpful.

It was a very enjoyable stay, in a very comfortable property facilitated by great hosts.

Pros: Communication from the host regarding access was very clear and we could even gain access early.

Cons: The main concern from our group was that there was no television. I believe there is room for a wall mounted.

Pros: Great accommodation! Quiet location but close to city centre in 10 min. walk. Nice winter garden as livingroom and diverse kitchen equipment. The host is very friendly and engaged to make the visit relaxed. Absolutly recommended for your next visit to a beautiful city.

Cons: Some chairs at the table in kitchen a worn out and should be replaced.

Pros: Cosy living room, well-equipped and well-stocked kitchen including fresh coffee, very responsive host who arranged an extra mattress for us. Clean. Nice showers and beds. The smart lock is very convenient for a big group. Good value for money.

Cons: The bedrooms, particularly the two on the top floor, become very hot when temperatures exceed 25°C. A lot of mosquitos, especially in the bedrooms on the garden side. The kitchen is quite small: the dining table only seats 6.

The owners are really communicative, and everything was really easy for our journey. We enjoyed the nice place!

Yes, a very quiet Large House in beautiful Ghent!

Pros: Location. Comfy beds. Neighborhood was quiet. Lots of coffees provided. Dishwasher, washer, dryer, lots of clean plates, glasses and utensils. Has it's own parking spot in the front. But unfortunately a large truck parked overnight in half our spot, so had to go around 4 times looking for street parking. And since it was a Friday night, all the street parking were taken. Finally decided to ask the neighbor if we could park half our car on her driveway, which she let us with no problem. Thank you neighbor! Owners were very quick to respond to our emails.

Cons: Understandably since the apartment is a bit dated, things are not in tip-top shape. Screen door to the outdoor mini garden is broken. Outdoor garden was a bit outgrown with weeds and tables and chairs looked a bit dirty, so we didn't get to spend time there. 3 flights of spiral staircase was a bit dusty, but surprisingly fun to go up and down in. The kids loved it!

Pros: The location was brilliant and we were really grateful for the luxuries like the coffee machine, the bedroom sinks, and the entry keypad. The helpfulness of the host was also really much appreciated.

Cons: They were fine with us, but some people might not like the steep spiral metal staircases

Cons: Needed mosquito net over windows. Would have been nice to have fresh milk available on arrival. Two flights in of spiral stairs made taking luggage upstairs a little challenging.
