Exceptional boutique stay with real character

Pros: Hotel Esperance was a wonderful surprise from the moment we arrived; warm, welcoming, and far exceeding expectations. Set in a 1930s Art Deco building, the hotel has real character and charm. Our front-facing room came with four small Juliet balconies (not listed in the description), overlooking a church bell tower. Visiting for the Christmas markets, the sound of the bells throughout the day added a beautiful festive atmosphere and made the stay feel truly special. Quiet at night, thankfully. The hotel is proudly independent and feels genuinely boutique. Intimate, stylish, and refreshingly personal compared to chain hotels. The staff were outstanding and couldn’t do enough for us. A memorable stay that added something extra to our Christmas trip. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city with excellent service.

Pros: Warm and welcoming and a perfect location in the heart of the city. The bed was really comfortable and staff were very accommodating for our late arrival. We loved the art deco restaurant.

Cons: Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Pros: The hotel was great. It is located in the city center, within walking distance of everything and several metro stations. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The staff was fantastic. Everyone was very nice and took good care of us. The hotel does not have an elevator, but that didn't bother us. The breakfasts are small and good—we really liked that you order the type of breakfast you want, which prevents food waste. There is nothing to complain about at this hotel.
